February 10 & 11, 2017
10:00 PM - 4:00 PM
This class is a great introduction to all the components of the collared shirt - or shirt dress. Infinitely versatile, the Kalle gives you more than one option for placket, collar and hemline. Sew it in a lightweight woven for an elegant yet comfortable addition to your wardrobe.
Techniques: dress shirt collar and cuffs, yoke, plackets, hem facing
The default option is to have the pattern included in the price. Fabric is not included. To save 20% off the purchase of fabric for this class use coupon code KALLECLASSKIT. See the images for the fabric requirements.
Alternatively you can bring your own copy of the pattern. The price will be adjusted automatically based on the selection to include a pattern.
We also highly recommend pre-washing your fabric before class.
We have sewing machines (Janome HD 5000) available for use during the class or you can bring your own. Please indicate if you would like to use one of our machines or if you plan to bring your own.
This class is beginner appropriate, but you must know how to use a sewing machine.
Class will be held at the Spool & Spindle Studio:
142 Waterloo St.
Each student will receive a one-time use 20% off coupon for use at Spool & Spindle (online or in-store).
