Stowe Bag Workshop - Nov 11

Stowe Bag Workshop - Nov 11

Saturday, November 11

The elegantly designed Stowe bag does double duty as a foldable grocery tote or perfectly proportioned bag for all your creative projects. It features several interior pockets, a bias tape binding and an insanely clever bottom gusset. This class will cover the cutting and creation of a Stowe bag just for you, including some easy methods for transferring pattern markings to your fabric. The Stowe bag comes in two sizes.

We have sewing machines (Janome HD 5000) available for use during the class or you can bring your own.
Please indicate if you would like to use one of our machines or if you plan to bring your own.

The price includes enough fabric to make the bag and bias binding. Price will be adjusted based on size selected. Let us know which fabrics you would like in the text box below. Please select from any of our quilting cottons for both the main fabric and the bias binding fabric. We will prewash your fabric and have it ready to use on class day.
Alternatively, you can bring your own fabric that matches the recommended materials for the pattern (price will be adjusted).

If you choose to not include the pattern, you must bring your own copy of the Stowe bag pattern to the class.

Class will be held at the Spool & Spindle Studio:
142 Waterloo St.
Waterloo, On.
N2J 1Y2

Each student will receive a one-time use 20% off coupon for use at Spool & Spindle (online or in-store).
