Tamarack Workshop

This is a 4-part class. Parts 2+3 are scheduled on the same day. You may be expected to do some of the sewing between classes as well.

Part 1: Tuesday, January 15th. 7pm-9:30pm

Part 2+3: Saturday, January 26th. 10am-3pm (bring a bagged lunch)

Part 4: Tuesday, February 5th. 7pm-9:30pm

Sew a cozy jacket for fall that looks amazing too.  The Tamarack Jacket is a great first coat to sew and a perfect intro into quilting.  Warm and stylish, the tamarack is fully lined and has an inner layer of cotton batting.
You must bring your own fabric to this class; after registering you will receive a 20% off coupon that you can use in our shop. Pick a chambray to make this piece transition easily from season to season or take advantage of the lining to showcase a novelty cotton print.
Techniques: bias binding, welt pockets, basic quilting

The Tamarack Jacket  pattern is included in the price of the pattern. If you already have your own copy of the pattern that you will be bringing to class, you can exclude this option. The price will be automatically adjusted.

We have sewing machines (Janome HD 5000) available for use during the class or you can bring your own.

Please indicate if you would like to use one of our machines or if you plan to bring your own.

We recommend bringing a bagged lunch for any sessions that run over lunchtime.

All class registrations are subject to our registration policy .
