I've always enjoyed walking along a beach and finding shells and other bits of ocean detritus; though as an Ontarian, I rarely get the chance to do it. Once again, I find myself with a lack of knowledge applicable to the print; I have no idea what shells are what (except that they are pretty). I mean, sure, There's a Sand Dollar, and um... maybe a Cowrie shell? Did I just name the only two shells I could think of? MAYBE.
In person, this fabric is a bit darker than the image, to my eye. The blue is a brighter slate blue, and the shells shade from a warm cream to a peachy cinnamon colour. It's a very appealing colour combination. The smaller shells are an inch and the larger ones vary from about 3" to 4".

Fabric is priced and sold by the 1/4 metre. We cut multiple 1/4 metres continuously. For example; 2 units is 1/2m, 3 units is 3/4m, 4 units is a full metre, 5 units is 1.25m. A single 1/4 metre will be cut as a fat quarter, unless you request a skinny quarter. Fat Quarters are half the width of the fabric x 0.5m, whereas Skinny Quarters are the full width of the fabric x 0.25m. We do this so you can order just as much fabric as you need, to decrease fabric wastage.
