Oh goodness, this fabric. I am an absolute sucker for interesting wovens; and this collection from Ruby Star Society is the very definition of interesting wovens. They've used various weaving techniques to create fabric with texture, interest, and- dare I say it- a little bit of intrigue. If this fabric was a British Detective; it would be the Reverend Sidney Chambers of fabrics. Unexpected, a little wild, but very handsome. I make no promises about this fabric's ability to solve crimes, even with the help of a put-upon Detective Inspector.
Anyways, the fabric, right. It really is gorgeous. It is surprisingly lightweight; much more akin to a lawn with fluid movement and gentle drape. This one is an absolute smorgasbord of texture; each stripe is a different woven pattern. Oh, just so delightful.
this is a 0.73m remnant. You get the whole piece.
