This fabric answers the eternal question: if you say "Hey, how are you?" to a squid, what do they say back? I know it's been on my mind for ages, so I'm relieved to hear a solid (and adorable) answer.
Double gauze is a two-layer fabric; each layer is a thin, gauzy cotton weave, and the layers are connected every inch or so. It is light, airy, and plumps up delightfully in the wash; which gives it a wonderful texture. It's perfect for skirts, dresses, shirts, and even light layering pieces. You will want to sew a zig zag stitch or serge the edges of your fabric before you sew it as unfinished edges do fray in the wash.
