This gorgeously slubby, textured noil has a swishy drape that looks and feel luxurious (but won't make your wallet weep). It's a midweight woven that is perfect for transitional weather (I wear it all winter too because it's so soft and comfortable). It has a gentle sponginess to the fabric; not a huge loft but just enough to give it a bit of substance- this isn't the filmy viscose that we often see, but rather something with a bit more body. It is extremely swishy without being clingy; the linen content helps give it a bit of oomph, if you know what I mean (waggles eyebrows).
Look, half my wardrobe is made out of this stuff- it's soft, comfortable, it moves, it washes well. Plus side- you no longer have to fight me for the fabric! There is no natural stretch to this fabric, but it does relax a little during the day, so you should interface those waistbands, and consider your sizing carefully.
A walking foot, basting glue, or wash away tape will offer an bit of extra control when working with this semi-slippery fabric.
